All treatments - Personal Hygine
Please arrive clean and fresh for your treatment.  We're all responsable grown up adults so there isn't an excuse reason for poor hygine.

Intimate Waxing & Getting your kit off

The biggest concern for many guys is what to take off or leave on for a treatment. You can put this fear to rest as once you are taken into the studio you will be told what you need to take off, where to put it and how you should be positioned for your treatment. We provide towels to keep you covered up and warm and only remove them as and when we need to ie. if you're having an intimate wax.
If you're not booked in for an intimate wax then there will be no need to expose your privates. All clients are asked to change in private and cover up with towels on the treatment couch before we start your treatment.  We only re-enter the studio once you're comfortable.  Depending on how intimate your treatment is we may need to work around sensitive areas. Remember, we’ve seen private areas many times before and are professional, so you are in very safe hands and don’t need to worry about any blushing.

Facials & Microderm Facials & Microdermibrasion

It’s advisable to shave if you have a full beard as it's important for the lotions and creams to soak into the skin. A little stubble is fine, but if you look like Gandalf then you should probably trim for maximum benefit.  Once you’ve had your facial it is important that you take care of yourself to get the most out of the treatment.  There’s not much that you need to do, it’s more a case of ‘what not to do’.  Please download your aftercare advice sheet below.

Waxing

“Does it hurt” is the most common question we get asked. When you’re having a waxing treatment is isn’t the most comfortable treatment you could have, but almost every customer who has had their first waxing treatment with us agrees that it doesn’t hurt as much as they expected. Forget what you’ve seen on the TV as that’s not real. You’ll feel a little discomfort as the wax is pulled, but seconds later it’s gone. The pain doesn’t linger and we’ll do everything we can to help soothe it immediately. We have waxed entire bodies and not once had a customer scream. You are in very safe hands. When having intimate areas waxed we often get asked “What if I get excited”. Well, we’ll just work around the situation. There no need to be embarrased, it happens and we ignore it and continue, during this treatment we will constantly be moving things and pulling the skin tight, so please just relax and we’ll just get on with leaving you hair free, feeling good and looking great.

Waxing Aftercare

Once you’ve had your waxing treatment it is important that you take care of the area that's been treated. There’s not much that you need to do, it’s more a case of ‘what not to do’.  You'll be given an aftercare sheet at your consultation to take away with you.  For convenience you can downloaded it below. Please note that if you're going on holiday into the sunshine you have a wax a week before your departure date where possible. This gives your skin plenty of time to recover and get back to normal before your holiday.
